The Sentrel Shower Cleaning and Care Guide
Discover why Sentrel tub surrounds are the smarter choice for contractors. Fast installs, low-maintenance durability, and stone-inspired style set us apart.
Wall-to-Wall Storage with a
Built-In Look
Every shower needs a home for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and razors. Too often, that home is a suction-cup rack that slips, or a hanging wire caddy that rusts, adding clutter to an otherwise finished shower. The new Sentrel Full-Length Shower Shelf takes a different approach: storage that looks like it was always part of the wall.
The Full-Length Shelf joins a growing lineup of Sentrel shower accessories, including corner shelves, recessed caddies, seating, trim kits, fixtures, shower doors, and safety options. Below, we cover what’s new, how it installs, and how to choose the right shower shelf or shower caddy for your next project.
Meet the Full-Length Shower Shelf
The Sentrel Full-Length Shelf spans the entire back wall of the shower alcove. Instead of squeezing every bottle into one corner, you get a continuous ledge with room for everyone’s products, side by side and within easy reach.
It’s available in two lengths:
60″ – Sized for the common 60″ shower or tub-shower alcove.
96″ – Built for wider walk-in showers, or for cutting down to a custom length.
Because the shelf is offered in every Sentrel stone color, it matches the wall panels around it. Sentrel designs are created from high-resolution images of real stone slabs, so the shelf carries the same authentic stone look as the rest of the shower. The result reads as a single, finished surface rather than an add-on.
That built-in look is the point. A long, clean horizontal line across the back wall gives the shower a tailored, custom feel. It also keeps the floor and corners clear, so the space feels more open and less cluttered.
Designed for a Faster, Simpler Install
The Full-Length Shelf was designed with installers in mind. It mounts with a simple wall cleat and Sentrel Performance Pro adhesive, a straightforward method that fits naturally into a Sentrel wall installation.
It also cuts to size on-site with a standard miter saw. Installers can trim the shelf for a precise fit in any alcove, without custom fabrication or specialty tools. For dealers and contractors, that means one product can adapt to a wide range of shower sizes, with less guesswork when ordering.
Full-Length Shelf features:
- Available in 60″ and 96″ lengths
- 4″ depth accommodates large bottles
- Spans the full back wall of the shower alcove
- Sleek, built-in storage for any shower
- Mounts with a simple wall cleat and Performance Pro adhesive
- Cuts to size on-site with a standard miter saw
- Available in all Sentrel stone colors
Where the Full-Length Shelf Works Best
The Full-Length Shelf is a strong fit for a wide range of projects:
- Shared bathrooms. When two or more people use the same shower, a wall-length shelf gives everyone their own space.
- Shower tub combinations. The shelf adds generous storage along the back wall without crowding the tub.
- Remodels and tub-to-shower conversions. It’s an easy way to add storage when updating an existing bathroom with Sentrel panels.
- Design-focused showers. A continuous stone ledge adds a clean architectural detail that highlights the wall pattern.
More Sentrel Shower Shelf and Caddy Options
Not every shower needs a full wall of storage. Sentrel offers several other shower shelf and shower caddy options, so you can match storage to the size of the space, the household, and the look you want.
15″ Corner Shelf
The 15″ Corner Shelf fits neatly into a 90-degree shower corner. It has a 15.5″ finished front edge, 11″ sides, and a substantial 1.5″ profile that looks like a solid built-in surface. A metal installation bracket is included for secure mounting, and the shower shelf is available in all Sentrel colors to match your walls. It’s a practical choice for everyday essentials when you want storage that blends in.
Metal Corner Shelf
For a more contemporary look, the Metal Corner Shelf is made from durable stainless steel. Its slotted surface helps water drain away, and its slim 1.25″ profile keeps the corner feeling open. It measures 11.625″ on each side with a 6.25″ rear width, and mounting screws and anchors are included. Choose from Chrome, Brushed Nickel, or Matte Black to coordinate with your shower fixtures and hardware.
17″ x 17″ Recessed Shower Caddy
A recessed shower caddy installs directly into the shower wall, so it adds storage without taking up any shower space. The 17″ x 17″ Recessed Caddy is a compact, square niche that keeps shampoo, soap, and razors organized and out of the way. It coordinates with Sentrel wall panel colors for a clean, integrated look and works well in showers of all sizes.
17″ x 26″ Recessed Shower Caddy
When you need more room, the 17″ x 26″ Recessed Caddy offers a taller niche with an integrated shelf. The shelf divides the space into two storage areas, making it easy to separate taller bottles from soap bars and razors. Like the smaller caddy, it sits inside the wall for a space-saving, finished appearance.
Stainless Steel Shower Caddy
The Stainless Steel Shower Caddy pairs durable metal construction with an optional Sentrel stone-pattern insert. The open shelf keeps essentials easy to grab, while the insert ties the caddy back to the surrounding walls. It’s a good fit for modern showers where you want the look of metal with a coordinated Sentrel detail.

How to Choose the Right Shower Storage
The best shower storage depends on how the shower will be used. A few questions can help narrow the options:
- How many people share the shower? For households where several people share one shower, the Full-Length Shelf or the 17″ x 26″ Recessed Caddy provides the most room.
- How much space do you have? In smaller showers, recessed caddies and corner shelves add storage without taking up standing room.
- When are you planning storage? Recessed caddies install into the wall itself, so they’re easiest to plan early in the project. The Full-Length Shelf and corner shelves mount to the wall surface and can be added at any time.
- What finish do you want? Stone-finish shelves blend into Sentrel walls for a seamless look. Metal options coordinate with your shower head, valve trim, and grab bars.
You can also combine options. For example, pair a Full-Length Shelf for everyday bottles with a 17″ x 17″ Recessed Caddy for razors and small items, or add a Shave Shelf as a footrest.
